Jason Pernell is the WW Sales Director for Software Defined Access at Cisco Systems. In this role, he is responsible for leading the sales force and driving the shift from traditional enterprise networking platforms to an open, software driven architecture. Jason’s vision is to help customers realize the goal of leveraging technology as an asset to achieve their desired business goals.
This is Jason’s 11th year at Cisco. In the last two years, Jason has had multiple leadership roles, including Regional Manager for the Greater Los Angeles area, leading a group of account managers who were focused on selling Cisco’s technology portfolio to customers. During that time, Jason grew revenue growth of 30%+ and was recognized as the Managers Excellence Recipient for the Commercial West both years!
In addition to his current role, Jason participates in Cisco’s college recruitment efforts, mentors aspiring leaders, and is a key contributor to Cisco Early in Career Initiatives.
Prior to Cisco, Jason graduated from the University of Arizona, where he got his degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the Eller College School of Business.
Today, Jason loves leading his team to success and coming home to his beautiful wife of over 11 years and two sons, Jasiah and Jatison.
